P1(E) RECCE

In this section, I have included the recce form I was required to produce, I order to be granted permission from my media studies teacher, allowing me access to the media room for filming. However, the media room was not actually used in my short film therefore this form is not necessary. Nevertheless, this was still a useful section of permission I have been granted incase the media room may be needed during the filming process. However, we did use the part of the school to film one scene in, therefore a teachers permission was required in order to allow us to film there, so there was use for this form as it granted us permission to film around the school in areas other than the media room.

Above is a proforma of the RECCE consent form that I drew up before giving it to my media studies teacher. This was important to do this before so the person signing can read the regulations clearly so they have a focused idea of what they are agreeing to if they sign.
Below is the signed version of the RECCE form I asked my teacher to sign. She didn't have any problems with the agreements and signed it.

Recce consent forms

The majority of filming was done at my house, therefore I asked for my mother's permission to use this as a location for our film shoot. Due to this, I was required to produce a permissions form, requesting her written permission to use our house to film in, however more specifically our garden.

Both of these forms have been put into place in order to protect us from legal liability action incase something in the location is damaged or broken. If something with the location is wrong, then owners cannot take legal action against me as a producer, as by signing these forms, they are accepting that they are responsible if something were to go wrong with the location of the shoot.

Above is a risk assessment ket, demonstrating the intensity levels of each risk and which category they are in. Below are images of some of the locations we will be using during filming, for the different scenes of the film.

Here is an image of the church we will be filming at to shoot the wedding scene. We will be using this location to make the wedding scene look more authentic as using a church really portrays marriage.

This is an image of the school we will be shooting at for the work and romance montage shots. I thought this was a suitable place to shoot the work scene as it has desks and workspace equipment to make the scene look for authentic.
