Film title: Lost Time
The genre of this film is a drama. I have decided this due to the nature of the storyline. There is a slight hint of comedy in this short film, however due to the overall outcome of the story I have decided to combine the two genres and label the it a dramatic comedy.

Duration: 4 minutes 40 seconds.
Medium: 1080p. The film will be shown on television, during adverts to inform people in between what they are watching.
Target audience: The target audience for this film would be teenagers between the ages of 11 - 16. I have chosen this because it is the age where people start to become more independent, therefore they should be educated on road safety, but also what could happen to them if they maintain positive attitudes.
Below is a synopsis of the film that I wrote up, describing a basic outline of what the film includes, what it is about. This is a useful piece of text to refer to when designing the different pre-production planning, as it remains me of what the main theme of the film, which enables me to keep focus with what I am trying to achieve with each decision.
Synopsis
Ivy, a young girl with the potential to live happily, grow up and make a life for herself. However, her chances are cut short when she suffers in a fatal car accident that sadly ends her life. This is a story questioning the 'what if's' in life. What-if she'd lived? What-if she'd been in a different place? Would this all be changed if Ivy had made different choices, or was this her inevitable fate? Watching what could've happened to her if she'd survived tells a story based on real life events, a girl who had the potential to have a job, a family and live a long life.

Key Scenes
The key scenes in this film would be the first one where Ivy is hit by the car. This sets the scene for the rest of the film as this is the part that determines how the rest of her life would be. Another key scene I would say is the montage of what she would be able to do if she had lived. This represents what could've happened if she hadn't been hit by a car which is very important in suggesting to the audience what the title of the film represents. This is the scene that ties the film to the title. Another key scene I think is the last scene, showing the rewind of what could've happened at the end, showing that none of the things that happened to her have happened because she made the wrong choice.
